Knowledgeable Immigration Lawyers Who Care About Their Clients and are Responsive to Their Needs
Years of experience representing U.S. employers and international companies in employment-based immigration matters and individuals in family-based immigration matters
Welcome to Ferman Law, PLLC, a U.S. immigration and nationality law firm. Through the immigration process, we help couples and families be reunited. In addition, we help international companies transfer employees to the U.S. while also helping U.S. employers obtain the appropriate types of work visas for foreign nationals they wish to hire. Once in the U.S., we advise individuals on how to maintain or change their immigration status.
We represent U.S. permanent residents applying for naturalization as well as other individuals who have a claim to U.S. citizenship through a parent. For those U.S. citizens who no longer wish to have U.S. citizenship, we can assist with the renunciation of their U.S. citizenship.
Experience, personal service and in many cases, a flat fee
We are a small, friendly law firm based stateside in the Twin Cities -- Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota -- with an office in Naples, Florida. We also maintain a presence in London, United Kingdom, where we were originally founded. We leverage our many years of experience to provide clients from all over the world with highly personalized, effective immigration law services. Our clients work directly with our knowledgeable attorneys, whose cases are not handed over to paralegals or legal assistants. So there are no surprises, we offer most of our services on a flat-fee basis.
A “green card” is evidence of a person’s U.S. permanent resident status. We provide assistance to U.S. employers wishing to sponsor foreign national workers for U.S. permanent residence. In addition to employment-based green cards, our firm helps to obtain green cards for eligible family members of U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents through I-130 petitions. We even help winners of the Green Card Lottery follow through on their opportunity with either an application for an immigrant visa at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate or an I-485, application for adjustment of status, with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
We handle many types of applications for U.S. visas. The type of visa needed depends on the reason for wanting to come to the U.S. Our experienced and knowledgeable attorneys are available to assist with work visas, investor visas, fiancé visas, student visas and visitor visas. After entry into the U.S. with the appropriate visa, we can help with maintenance of status through an application for extension of status or an application for a change of status.
U.S. citizenship and nationality
Our lawyers can provide valuable advice regarding U.S. citizenship and nationality matters, including claims to U.S. citizenship, naturalization and renunciation.
Other immigration services
Our immigration law services include, but are not limited to, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) requests; services for permanent residents, such as reentry permits and returning resident applications; employer I-9 compliance and employment verification; and applications for waivers of inadmissibility.
