The Attorneys of Ferman Law, PLLC
Why Hire Us?
We provide effective immigration law services with a highly personal touch
Ferman Law, PLLC has been providing quality U.S. immigration law services since 1981, when founder, Gary Ferman, established our first office in London, England. Today, the firm is headquartered in the Minneapolis, Minnesota suburb of Burnsville with an office in Naples, Florida. We also still maintain a presence in London. The international perspective, which we have acquired these past 30-plus years, gives us insight into the needs and concerns of individuals, families and businesses from around the world.
We know the U.S. government’s requirements for your case and how your case will be processed
Our goal is to achieve your objective as quickly as possible and with as little stress as possible. This is true whether you are seeking to obtain a U.S. green card or some type of nonimmigrant visa, bring eligible family members or a fiancé to live with you in the United States, or resolve naturalization or other citizenship issues.
There are many government agencies involved with the practice of U.S. immigration law, including U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the U.S. State Department, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the U.S. Department of Labor, and the Social Security Administration. All of them work according to their own missions, but we know very well what they are looking for from you and the proper procedures to follow. While hiring an attorney will not make the U.S. government process your case any faster, we can help make the process go as smoothly as possible by making sure that when there are multiple steps in a case, we prepare the next step while the current step is being processed by the government. We, as members of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (“AILA”), sometimes have access to government contact information, which is not available to members of the public. When there is a complication with a case, we can obtain assistance from an AILA Liaison, who has even more direct access to certain individuals at the government agency involved with the matter. Finally, we help to take away some of the worry, which people experience when processing immigration cases. We accomplish all of this by staying up to date on immigration law and regulations, paying attention to details, calling on our established network of contacts whenever needed, and treating your requests as though they were our own.
We are mindful of your costs
A U.S. immigration case can be an expensive undertaking if procedures are not correctly followed and legal work is left open-ended. That is why we offer most of our standard services on a flat-fee basis — to help you better gauge costs. The flat fee not only reduces your financial anxiety, but also encourages us to be as detailed and accurate as possible in advancing your case.
For our many clients in the U.K., we offer a less expensive option by billing in U.S. dollars, rather than British pounds, but they still get the benefit of our many years of experience processing cases at the U.S. Embassy London.
Why you should hire us
In a nutshell, we know our stuff. Further, we understand the concerns and anxieties you may have regarding U.S. immigration law, regulations and procedures. We make it a point to carefully listen to your goals and circumstances and then recommend the most appropriate course of action, and we always clearly explain the law and how it affects our strategy for advancing your best interests.
